HUMM

AfterPay

Afterpay is a digital payment platform that allows consumers to make purchases and pay for them in installments.fterpay enables customers to buy products online or in physical stores and divide the total cost into four equal payments, which are paid over a six-week period. These payments are interest-free if made on time, although late fees may apply for missed payments.

Afterpay offers a convenient alternative to traditional credit cards, as it does not involve interest charges or upfront fees. It aims to provide a more flexible and budget-friendly way for consumers to manage their expenses by spreading the cost of purchases over time. The platform has partnered with numerous retailers across various industries, allowing customers to use Afterpay for a wide range of products and services.

To use Afterpay, customers need to create an account and link their payment method, typically a debit or credit card. Afterpay performs a quick credit check during the signup process, but it generally has more lenient requirements compared to traditional credit applications. Once approved, customers can select Afterpay as the payment option during checkout, and the total amount is divided into four installments. The first payment is made at the time of purchase, while the remaining three payments are automatically deducted from the linked payment method every two weeks.
